{tooltip}Student-Teachers’ Attitude towards Teaching Profession{end-texte}Abstract – Unfortunately in India, to-day, the socio-economic status and the professional status of teachers is low. Specially, at the primary level it falls much below the standards despite many efforts undertaken to improve it. Due to Fix pay salary, status of Vidya-Sahayak, young generation is not attracted towards teaching profession. They do not get minimum vages also. Its affect the quality of teaching. Latest figures of Gunotsav point out the education scenario of Gujarat. The quality of education as an academic study must be raised which can be one of the influential factor for school teaching to emerge as a profession on par with other established professions like Law, Medicine, Engineering etc. Unless, teaching attains the status of high profession and teachers as professionals, it is painful to harbor high expectations that we as people have from our teachers and to have right attitudes towards their profession. In the academic year of 2015-16, 35% seats were not filled with the students. It shows that teaching profession can-not attract the future teacher towards this noble profession. That’s why here it is necessary to know what the attitudes of teachers towards teaching profession are? {end-tooltip} |

{tooltip}Study of Spiritual Intelligence of Primary Teachers of Kadi{end-texte}Abstract – here is a lot of possiility of ental social eotional physical developent in today’s ducation But it is also important that how it comes out from inner world of students. In the past several years, selection of the teacher in secondary school have continued to emphasize the achievement of outcomes which is dominated by cognitive learning, that is, the attainment of knowledge and particular skills. In addition, the neglect of the spiritual dimension in life, both in society and in education has resulted in a lack of appropriate language to speak of spiritual things. Rabindranath Tagore said that A lamp can never light another lamp unless it continuous to burn its own flame. A teacher should deal with his students with a deep sense of moral obligation and treat them with affection. For students a good teacher is nearer to God. The future of the country is not built by bricks but by brains, not by cement but by considering moral and spiritual dimensions of life.{end-tooltip} |

{tooltip}Judicial Activism and Public Interest Litigation{end-texte}Abstract – Judicial activism expanded mainly because of Public Interest Litigation (PIL). Until the emergence of PIL, justice was a remote reality for the socially and economically backward sections of society. The traditional rule of ‘locus standi” (the right to file a petition in a court) was that judicial remedy could be sought only by those who had suffered some legal wrong. The Supreme Court relaxed the strict rule of locus standi, because the poor masses have neither the means nor the will to approach the court of law. According to the changed rule, any public-spirited individual or institution can move the court on behalf of the poor, the exploited and the oppressed. The Court has only to satisfy itself that the person or the institution is acting in good faith, and not out of vengeance or personal gain. The PIL led to the so-called ‘epistolary jurisdiction’ also i.e. the court could recognize even a postcard or a letter written to it as a writ petition.{end-tooltip} |
