|1||Monte Carlo Methods (The Metropolis Algorithm) Experiments in Statistical PhysicsAbstract – This Paper is about the use of computers to solve problems in statistical physics. In particular, it is about Monte Carlo methods, which form the largest and most important class of numerical methods used for solving statistical physics problems. Statistical mechanics is primarily concerned with the calculation of properties of condensed matter systems. The crucial difficulty associated with these systems is that they are composed of very many parts, typically atoms or molecules. These parts are usually all the same or of a small number of different types and they often obey quite simple equations of motion so that the behavior of the entire system can be expressed mathematically in a straightforward manner. In this paper we are assuming that these basics are actually already familiar to you, but writing them down here will give us a chance to bring back to mind some of the ideas that are most relevant to the study of Monte Carlo methods.||Nilesh H. |2||Design, synthesis and Anti microbial screening of 1,3,4-oxadizole ring clubbed s-triazine derivatives
Abstract –A Series of compounds 2-(4-bromophenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl-5-sulfanyl)-4-(morpholino)-6-(arylamino)-s-triazine were synthesized and structures of these compound were elucidated by spectral (IR, 1H NMR, Mass spectra) analysis synthesized compound were screened for in vitro antibacterial activity against the representative panel of Gram The title compounds were then examined for their in vitro microbial activity against 2 gram +Ve bacteria (S. Aerues, B. subtilis) 2 gram –Ve bacteria (E. Coli, P. Aeruginosa) bacteria. These compounds were also tested for their inhibitory action against strain of 2 fungal species (C. Albicans and A. niger). The synthesized compound showed potent inhibitory action against the test organisms.
